FAQs
What is the best time to see Wildlife?
There is no specific time when the wildlife are more likely to be seen. They are in their natural environment, so it is up to them if they surface or not.
Do you have a toilet on board?
Yes, we have a basic boat toilet on our boats, but please try to go before you join us. The nearest public toilets are situated along the harbour front or at the bus station.
What time should we arrive?
We ask you to arrive at our booking office at least 20 minutes prior to your trip. BOATS WILL NOT WAIT.
At low tide it is a 5 minute walk to the boarding point.
Our staff will book you in and walk you to the boarding point.
If we are late or miss our trip, can we move to another trip?
We are a scheduled trip company so we cannot wait for late comers to arrive. We can offer you another trip, but that will be charged at a full rate. If you think you may be late, please contact us as soon as possible as we may be able to sell your tickets and then offer you a change of date or refund.
Do we get a refund if our trip is cancelled?
Trips may be cancelled due to poor sea conditions/weather, by not meeting the minimum booking number or any reason beyond our control.
Our booking team will contact you via email, text or telephone as soon as possible. You will be offered to reschedule and if this is not convenient, you will be offered a full refund which will be paid back within 7 days.
If you are travelling along way for your trip, we advise you to call before leaving to ensure your trip is going ahead.
Can I cancel or reschedule my trip if my plans change?
If you wish to cancel or reschedule your trip, then please contact us at least 48 hours prior to departure and we can give you a full refund or work with you to rebook. If plans change within 48 hours of departure, then we will do our best to sell your tickets. Only if we can sell them will a refund be given.
Can I bring my dog?
Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome on our wildlife trips only. The only shade for them will be under the seats.
There will be no extra cost but please include them in your booking details. Dogs will not be permitted to go on our fishing trips. As you can appreciate, we do not want any dogs getting injured by hooks.
Do we need to bring anything?
