We either cruise easterly to the historic and breathtaking St Michael’s Mount or westerly to Porthcurno to see the amazing Minack Theatre from the sea. Here is a summary of the two wildlife trips that we offer from February to November.
Our 2 Hour Wildlife Trip
We leave Penzance and cruise easterly along the striking Cornish coastline to the historic and breathtaking St Michael’s Mount. On route keep an eye out for the dolphins and porpoises very often seen in this location. Our skippers are in radio contact with other boats at sea, and will be told of any dolphins, porpoises and other notable wildlife in the area, so you won‘t miss them! Spot the Cormorants, Gannets, Puffins and Sun Fish. Minke and Humpback Whales have also been seen here. Trips are approxmately 2hrs long.

Our 3 Hour Wildlife Trip
We will take you on a three-hour trip to Porthcurno to see the amazing Minack Theatre from the sea exploring all the way in search of the dolphins, porpoises, minke and humpback whales, sun fish and more. Travelling past Newlyn our famous fishing port, Mousehole rich in folklore, Lamorna Cove famous for its diving to your destination, 'the Minack Theatre' which is an open-air theatre, constructed above a gully with a rocky granite outcrop jutting into the sea. Minack is from the Cornish meynek meaning “a stony or rocky place”. The seas are usually very clear here at Porthcurno. Keep your eyes open for the whales and dolphins. Your skipper is in touch with other boats so as not to miss any marine life sightings.
This trip is approximately 3hrs and is subject to change of route due to weather or sea conditions and thus cannot always guarantee reaching the Minack Theatre
